2,186 farting sheep force plane to make emergency landing
A cargo plane was forced to make an emergency landing after the animals in the hold set off the smoke alarm with their farts.
The incident took place on a Singapore Airlines flight from Sydney to Kuala Lumpar.
The flight had over 2,000 animals in the hold when the crew saw the smoke alarm go off in the hold.
Immediately the crew diverted the plane to Bali, where it landed safely 45 minutes later.
On inspection no fire was detected and the cause of the alert was in fact the gas coming from the sheep and their droppings.
Once the problem was noticed, the plane took for its final destination three hours later.
