A Donegal man suffered the most eye-watering of injuries while having sex with his girlfriend earlier this year.

Speaking to the Irish Sun, Alan Parke and his girlfriend Clarissa Cairns tell the whole gruesome story of the incident, and his long, hard (no pun intended) road to recovery.

It all began on March 5, when the couple heard a 'snap' in the middle of sex with Clarissa on top.

"I have never known pain like it, it was excruciating," Alan said.

The pair rushed him to Letterkenny General Hospital with blood everywhere. He was told it was fractured and admitted to a ward.

However, another patient kept laughing at Alan and that made him so angry that he checked himself out the next day.

Alan's life sounded like hell for the next eight weeks. He was off work from the Eniviromental Protection Agency for two months and had to call an ambulance seven times during that spell due to bleeding.

As Clarissa added: 'It was a while before he could even play with himself again he was in that much pain.'

Now, three months on things are finally back to normal but Alan warns all men to be 'careful' as he describes it as 'the most painful thing he I've ever gone through'.
