Doctors warn against sex roulette parties where one participant is HIV positive
Sex mad men gorge on anti-viral medication and take part no holds barred sex roulette parties with one HIV positive participant for a thrill, according to doctors.
The sex roulette events are usually attended by gay men who are entertained by the ‘thrill’ of nothing knowing if they will be infected or not, according to the Daily Mail.
Spanish doctors have noted a rise in the parties where horny risk takers often gobble down anti-viral medication to reduce the risk of transmission.
Dr Josep Mallolas of Hospital Clinic Barcelona said that the parties are a sign that people have 'lost respect' for HIV, reports el Periodico.
“There is everything: sex roulette parties, or sex parties you can only attend if you already have HIV,” he said.
Reports suggest that there are variations of parties with their own set of rules.
Some sordid soirées are for HIV positive people only, whereas others offer blue anti-viral pills tablets that prevent you from contracting the virus.
According to psychosexual therapist Kate Morley “Going to sex roulette paries is about the risk, partygoers think the higher the risk the stronger the thrill.
“In the case of sex parties the intense high is as you combine orgasm with high adrenaline.”
However, she did advise that the long term consequences are dangerous.
