Boy found with octopus in throat released from hospital
A two-year-old boy who was found with an octopus stuck in his throat is now out of hospital, Kansas police said.
Wichita prosecutors are deciding whether charges are merited in the case, after the boy's 21-year-old mother returned home from work to find her boyfriend performing CPR on her son.
Doctors found and removed the dead octopus, which had a head about 2in in diameter, from the boy's throat.
Police said the octopus was likely to be used for sushi.
