Belarus' Eurovision act hopes to stun judges by performing naked flanked by wolves

Belarus singer Alexandr Ivanov wants to perform naked and be flanked by wolves at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

The 24 year old known as IVAN will be lucky to walk away with his genitals intact, let alone a win, if he goes ahead with the bizarre stunt at the annual show being held in Stockholm in May.

He's yet to be given the go-ahead but it looks like he's prepared to risk life and limb whilst performing musical number 'Help You Fly' to secure a win for his country.

IVAN's producer, Russian Viktor Drobish told the Russian Lenta.ru: "We haven't received any answer from the organisers yet. But yes, Ivan will be naked on stage and there will be wolves."

Viktor, 48, has also explained the reason for such an extravagant stunt at the competition.

He said: "Every person identifies himself with a certain totemic creature. Sometimes we suppress it in ourselves but sometimes we have to face it. We want everybody to feel the thin line between humans and nature."

IVAN was born in Gomel, Belarus. He started his musical career in 2009 when he participated at the rock festival Mass Medium Fest. In the same year he founded his band Ivanov and moved to St. Petersburg to promote his music.

The first Eurovision semi-final will be held on May 10, the second on May 12 and the final date is set for May 14.
