A mother breaks the Guinness World Records for spacehopping for one mile
A mother has broken the Guinness World records for bouncing one mile in under 18 minutes on a space hopper.
The 38-year-old parent, Amy Turner, has set the fastest time for travelling one mile on the children's inflatable in 17 minutes and 22.86 seconds, which is three minutes faster than the previous title holder's personal best.
Speaking to The Mirror Online about her achievement, she said: "When I applied, there was no women's record, so they set a challenging time to beat.
"I was really pleased with my time, but I could have done better.
"I'm a bit annoyed - I did it in 16 minutes and 40 seconds in training."
