Ken-ya feel the love tonight
My first taste of Kenya is an early-morning jaunt through the streets of Nairobi.
It’s 4.30am, and already the traffic from the airport to the city is heavy. This bustling African capital has a population of 3.5 million people – 6.5 million if you include the suburbs. Having missed an earlier connecting flight, my stay will be short and sweet.
I check in to the Jacaranda Hotel at 6am and we’re leaving at 7am.
There’s just enough time to shower, change and grab breakfast before I meet my travelling companions for the week ahead. We load up and set off...
