SNOW Patrol are set to make a surprise appearance at a Dublin restaurant on St Patrick ’s Day.
The band are due to turn up at The Meeting House to support guitarist, who is playing a DJ set there.
Singer Gary Lightbody is already a big fan of the eatery and cocktail bar, which has undergone gone a revamp and gained a Burmese theme since it was previously known as Eden.
Others who’ve enjoyed the E9.99 a meal menu at the Meeting House include Sopranos creator David Chase and Love/Hate’s Peter Coonan (Fran).
“We’ve also a E6.66 menu on Sundays and Mondays, which we call out 69 special as when you turn the mean upside down it spells it, there’s nothing evil in it,” chuckles the restaurant’s marketing manager Johnny Connolly.
“The restaurant trade has picked up in Dublin a lot. We are now full most weekends, despite only starting off six weeks ago, and there’s loads more places popping up – people are becoming foodies.”
Johnny (32) is also well known in the capital for running two tattoo parlours, Dublin Ink and The Ink Factory.
