Leona Lewis is set to release her first Christmas album.

The 'Bleeding Love' singer says she hopes to spread "Christmas cheer" with her collection of festive tracks, entitled 'Christmas, With Love' which will feature a range of original and classic songs for release on December 2.

Leona - who had a Christmas UK number one, with her 2006 'X Factor' winner's single 'A Moment Like This' - is looking forward to performing the Motown inspired tracks during the season to be jolly.

She said: "I cannot wait to get out there this Christmas and perform these songs. I had such fun recording this record and that really comes through in the songs. I am looking forward to spreading a little Christmas cheer!"

Fans will be treated to classic Christmas songs such as 'O Holy Night' and 'Silent Night' in addition to three original tracks including, 'One More Sleep' which the star has teased online.

The single is scheduled for release the day before the album on December 1.
