Ellie Goulding sparks Bond theme rumours
Ellie Goulding has sparked speculation she's recorded the 'Spectre' theme.
The 28-year-old star was recently tipped as the secret performer to have recorded the title track for the upcoming James Bond movie and teased it could be happening when she tweeted the title of Sir Paul McCartney's 1973 theme, 'Live and Let Die'.
In the cryptic message, she just wrote: "Live and let die (sic)."
The hint comes just days after 23-year-old musician Sam Smith announced he's "definitely" not been asked to sing a tune for the movie and instead revealed he'd heard the 'Love Me Like You Do' hitmaker was recording it.
He said: "It's definitely not me. People seem to think I'm doing it but I have no idea what's going on."
"I'd love to do it. It'd be a dream to do.
"I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it, it's definitely not me."
The blonde beauty - who is dating McBusted's Dougie Poynter - would be following in the footsteps of Grammy Award-winner Adele if she does sing the theme, as the 27-year-old singer won the Best Original Song prize at the Academy Awards in 2013 for 'Skyfall'.
'Spectre' - which will be Daniel Craig's fourth Bond movie - will hit cinemas in November.
