Salma Hayek and Samuel L Jackson in Hitman's Bodyguard
Salma Hayek and Samuel L. Jackson will join Ryan Reynolds in 'Hitman's Bodyguard'.
The Hollywood heavyweights have boarded the cast of the high-octane action movie, which sees the previously-announced Ryan portray the world's top protection agent.
The story centres on him and his new client - played by Samuel - who is a hitman who has come out of hiding and needs witness protection.
The pair have known each one another for years and hate each other, but are forced to spend 24 hours in each other's company as they battle their way to the Hague from the UK, so that Samuel can testify against a villainous Eastern European dictator - played by Gary Oldman.
It's not clear what role Salma will take in the story, but she has also been joined by 'Daredevil' star Elodie Yung to fill up the female roster.
Production on the movie is set to start on April 2 in London and continue in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Sofia, Bulgaria.
Salma, 49, is currently shooting her new comedy movie 'Drunk Parents' in New York with Alec Baldwin with the pair playing intoxicated parents in the movie.
Elodie can next be seen in 'Gods of Egypt'.
