"I've really fallen in love with these characters. I was always in love with the characters in the comic book world, but there's a lot of story to tell with Hank Pym."
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are both are both set to return for the sequel, but it's not yet known if the other members of the original cast will be reprising their roles.
Speaking earlier this year, Paul revealed he'd love to return to the part of Ant-Man for a movie sequel.
He said: "If we're fortunate enough to do another 'Ant-Man' movie, I would love to do it."
'Ant-Man and the Wasp' is set for release in July 2018.
