Marion Cotillard: I'm my own biggest critic

Marion Cotillard is her own biggest critic.

The French actress has revealed that regardless of the criticism she may receive from a cinema expert, it will never be as severe as her own personal take her performance.

Marion explained: "There's always something I find wrong. The worst critic will never reach what I think about my work."

In fact, Marion had admitted to hating at least one of the movies she has worked on.

She told the Sunday Times newspaper: "I did a movie where the director edited in every scene I was not totally convinced with... I hate the movie."

Marion is particularly well-known for her abrupt death in the Batman film 'The Dark Knight Rises', which led to the sarcastic website peopledyinglikemarioncotillard.tumblr.com.

On reflection, the actress admitted that her death scene was not one of her finest moments on camera, although she is philosophical about the subsequent criticism.

She said: "Yes, it is not very good. But, come on, it is not the end of the world... For one scene, you become the worst actress on earth, when you're trying to do your best to reach a kind of authenticity? It was unfair."
