John Boyega features in first role post Star Wars: The Force Awakens
John Boyega's first role since finding fame in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is in Nickelodeon's animated series 'Tinkershrimp & Dutch'.
The 23-year-old actor has lent his voice to the character of Dutch in the broadcaster's original series, based on a pair of time-travelling best friends, Dutch - a slow loris - and Tinkershrimp, a langoustine.
The pals are bodyguards for King Hunnybun III, the eccentric monarch of New Great Great Britain, in the series, which airs on the children's channel from January 15.
The part will be John's first since he was plucked from relative obscurity to play new character Finn in the seventh installment of the 'Star Wars' franchise.
Finn is a disenchanted Stormtrooper who joins the resistance, and the character propelled the London actor to worldwide fame as he appeared alongside 'Star Wars' veteran actors Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
Meanwhile, John is joined by fellow 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actress Daisy Ridley and Emilia Clarke from 'Game of Thrones' on this year's 30 Under 30 Forbes list.
