Jennifer Lawrence and Steven Spielberg to make biopic
Jennifer Lawrence and Steven Spielberg are to collaborate on a new biopic.
Warner Bros. is busily working on a deal that will see Lawrence, 24, star in the movie and Spielberg, 68, direct the film, titled 'It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life Of Love And War'.
The plot - based on a memoir by Lynsey Addario which has been excerpted by The New York Times Magazine - tells the story of a woman who goes into war zones in search of truth, Deadline reports.
Addario, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, who travelled to Afghanistan in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the US in 2001, and attracted attention by giving an identity to people who were involved in the conflict.
She was also kidnapped by pro-Quaddafi forces during the Libyan civil war.
Meanwhile, Lawrence recently rubbished claims she had an on-set argument with David O. Russell, with whom she is currently working on the film 'Joy'.
She wrote on her Facebook page: "Hey guys! It's Jen! I know I don't go on here a lot because I can barely work email but there's been a terrible rumor going around the last 24 hours so I wanted to clear it up.
"David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship.(sic)"
