Ellen Albertini, the rapping granny from 'The Wedding Singer' dies aged 101
Ellen Albertini, the actress best known for her rapping performance in the 1998 film The Wedding Singer, has passed away aged 101.
Albertini appeared in a host of shows in her long career, including Family Guy, The Twilight Zone, The Wonder Years, The Golden Girls, ER, Seinfeld, Moonlighting and Star Trek: The Next Generation but her role as the sweet natured Rosie, who Adam Sandler's character was teaching how to sing, that made her famous.
Albertini was an acting coach until she finally stepped in front of the camera in 1985 in the movie American Drive-In. She last appeared on screen in the TV series New Girl last year.
