Daniel Craig says Spectre is like 'a magician's trick'

Daniel Craig has likened the script for 'Spectre' to a magician's trick.

The 47-year-old actor, who is reprising the role of James Bond in the eagerly-awaited new movie, is remaining tight-lipped on rumours surrounding the plot, but says he's happy for certain aspects of the film to remain "a bit sacred".

Asked if he can reveal any details of the storyline, Daniel said: "It's becomes a joke. People want to ask me what the plot is about and I'm like, 'I can't answer the question'.

"It's like when a magician does a trick and they're like, 'I'm not going to show you how it works'.

"I like that, keeping it a bit sacred ... you know, wait and see until the movie comes out."

Daniel, who starred as Bond in 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace', also said the most-recent Bond movie - the Sam Mendes-directed 'Skyfall' - marked an important shift for the Bond franchise.

He told ITV's 'Lorraine': "What happened in the last movie was a big kick, bringing Sam in and we took the movie in a different direction.

"We kind of created a language that was different from the other two, but that was faithful to Bond [but] that was kind of new."
