Decks on the beach
STUNNING Sunday World columnist Vogue Williams has revealed the wild party life on Ibiza was too much for her.
The 29-year-old spent several days partying with model pals Nadia Forde and Amy Willerton in the sun.
But Vogue admitted the high point was not the boozing, but getting to DJ for the fun-loving crowd.
And she says if she goes back she will be looking for the quiet side of the island.
“I went to Ibiza for the first time and I was with Amy and Nadia Forde. We were all on the same wavelength with the boozing so it was great to have them around,” Vogue said.
“Don’t get me wrong I love a drink but I wasn’t into going to a nightclub until 8am, which seems to be the norm there.”
And Vogue admits she was a little taken aback at the other excess on the island - the splurge of cash.
“Ibiza is a really expensive place, a large bottle of vodka can cost €400 and in a nightclub a drink is €15. A friend I was with spent €700 in a day, I mean surely that’s a bit excessive even for Ibiza.”
Wild Woman Vogue, who triumphed in Bear Grylls Mission Survive reality show, is a fan of the quieter side of Ibiza life.
“I think I had a different experience to the usual Ibiza. I stayed in a gorgeous hotel the ME hotel around a half an hour from the madness of San Antonio and it was perfect for me.
“I do think if you stay on the quiet side you can go to the most beautiful restaurants and spent a lot less than that. I’ll definitely go back but I might stick with what some people call the boring side!”
