Nissan’s new upgraded Qashqai has landed in dealerships

Nissan’s Qashqai, which the marque boasts to be the best selling crossover of all time with over 50,000 sold, has had a revamp and is now available at dealerships throughout Ireland.

According to Nissan the new Qashqai’s upgrades focus on four areas:  

  1. Exterior design

The Qashqai has a new look ‘V-motion’ and a new front bumper, front fog lamps as well as Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) and a LED light motif which has been extended across the whole lamp at the rear of the car.

  1. Interior quality,

Nissan have added a D-shaped steering wheel and redesigned seats with durable upholstered finish or a choice of soft nappa leather, with 3D quilting.

  1. Driving performance

This new Qashqai is said to have significantly improved on its predecessor in terms of noise, vibration and harshness. It also boasts calmer body motion, better impact shock, line traceability through corners and Active Return Control - meaning the steering wheel returns to center more naturally.

  1. Intelligent Mobility technologies.

Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection will be available, as well as Intelligent Park Assist with New Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Still Assist.

Nissan say that the other current systems have also been upgraded with new safety features.

The new Qashqai comes in four grades: XE, SV, SV Premium and SVE, with a starting price of €26,070, it is now available to purchase across Nissan dealerships nationwide and will be offered with ProPILOT, Nissan’s autonomous drive technology in 2018
