Sassy writer Amanda Brunker is set to send the temperature soaring with a new sex romp radio and stage play and we have an exclusive preview for you.
The chick-lit scribe’s steamy sex scenes in novels like Champagne Kisses have already made Brunker a best-selling author.
Now she brings her sexy and funny fiction to life on the airwaves and in theatres with a show called Curiosity. It stars two of Ireland’s best-known actresses as women exploring their sexuality when they meet in the fictional Sunset Meadows Health Farm in remote Donegal.
“It’s based around newly single Amy [Leigh Arnold] who is trying to escape the self-loathing she’s feeling after discovering that her husband has been cheating on her... with men!” says Amanda.
“Amy meets Martha [Norma Sheahan] and that is where the real drama begins. Curiosity shows how a brief flirtation with bisexuality isn’t the worst thing that could happen.”
Curiosity will air first on Dublin’s Sunshine 106.8 FM radio on Sunday week, May 10, from 7-8pm, before being available to download on iTunes.
The stage version will open at Dublin’s Smock Alley theatre in October for a three-week run, before touring nationwide.
