First Day at School Competition

KYLE IS TOP OF THE CLASS

INTRODUCING the Sunday World's number one school starter. For the past two months, we have been celebrating our back to school competition.

A special moment in every families' lives, we have witnessed a vast collection of little cuties, dressed for that first day.

Last week, we published the top 20 pictures that included 12 girls and nine boys with shining shoes and smiles!

But it was Kyle Jordan's apprehensive smile that won the readers' hearts. Kyle age (4) is a student at St Mary's National School in Kilkenny.

The lucky boy, captured here just moments before his first steps into the classroom, has won a lovely €1,000 to kick start an early education fund.
