NGELA McGhee is no ordinary 51-yearold. Over the last 20 years she has solved dozens of murder cases and found 100s of missing bodies. Her unusual gift has made her a household name in her native England but now Angela knows that her future lies in the country where her grandmother Kathleen Murphy was born and bred. Despite dedicating her life to helping the police with their investigations and helping members of the public communicate with their friends and family who have "moved on to the after life", Angela still meets cynics every day of her life. "I have been labelled a lot of things through the years because of the gift that I have," the psychic admits to SWM. "If people believe in what I do then they will get more out of my gift. If people don't believe that I can communicate with the dead or articulate my visions then they will be pleasantly surprised." Angela was born with the ability to see dead people as well as see into the future. While she admits at a young age that gift was not necessarily a good thing, in later years the mother of four has honed her skills to help those who need her. "I remember discovering my gift at a very young age. I asked my mum once why a neighbour of ours was taken away in an ambulance and she told me I was wrong and that I was being silly. "I gave her specific details about which neighbour but because he was healthy and had never been to hospital she laughed off my vision. Then the following day he was taken away to hospital in an ambulance." Angela continues: "I always kept my visions to myself when I was in school. I had a very tough upbringing moving from convent to convent. I would regularly get into conversations with the people in my visions and had to be told to stop talking to myself by the nuns. "So ,after a while, I decided to keep it to myself. It never went away though which is something I should stress. I was born with

this gift and have always had it. "My gift would remain a hidden secret for many years because I, like any other child, wanted to be accepted. There came a time when I had to tell someone of my 'world'. "Years later, my confidant was my local priest. He gave me the reassurance that I had been blessed with a true 'gift' from God. "My journey through life has been coloured with grief, trauma and tragedy to say the least but my faith in God 'the Divine Spirit' remained unfaltering." Being raised as a strict Catholic meant that Angela constantly questioned her gift but more often than not she discovered that her religious beliefs and her own gift were very much in sync. In the `80s Angela was approached by the police to help out with a case that was proving difficult to solve. "I know most of the policemen that I dealt with were cynics but when they asked for my help I was happy to do so. "They literally dropped me into a murder scene and told me nothing about the case. Within minutes I was able to tell them minute details that no one would have known unless they worked on the investigation team. In that situation they used to confirm details as opposed to discover them. "On that day I got several visitations from spirits that confirmed the police force's theories. The Chief Inspector at the time described me a 'tool' in his force.
